Finally some good news regarding vaccinations for expats in Hua Hin.
On Monday (Aug 23) Hua Hin Hospital said it will begin to administer doses of the Pfizer vaccine to foreigners in Hua Hin.
The vaccines will be given to people who registered via the Thai government’s Expatvac registration portal.
Vaccines will be administered from Aug 24 between 7am and 3pm on the 9th floor of the car park building.
It is understood that those who will be given the vaccine should have received an email confirming their appointment.
It is not clear if walk-in vaccinations will be available. [Hua Hin Today will update this post once we have received confirmation from Hua Hin Hospital].
Foreigners in Hua Hin are advised to check their emails, especially their spam or promotions folder for an email from the Expatvac website.
The rollout of vaccines to people who registered via the Expatvac website was also confirmed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Tanee Sangrat.

Last month, the United States Embassy in Bangkok announced that the US government had donated 1.5 million doses of the Pfizer vaccines to Thailand.
The Thai government said that some of the doses would be used to vaccinate foreigners in Thailand while the rest would be used for frontline medical workers.
The US government later confirmed an additional 1 million vaccine doses would be donated, giving Thailand a total of 2.5 million doses.
