Hua Hin Nightlife, Thailand

Nightlife in Hua Hin

Nightlife in Hua Hin is less wild than other major beach destination in Thailand.

Hua Hin offers relaxing nightlife mainly concentrated around local sidewalk bars, cafe excellent restaurants and a large number of lively bars where the drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

There are a good mix of night markets, entertainment venues and even a cabaret show for those who like a little action after the sun goes down.

Some of the main hotels put on shows of classical Thai dancing and music, for those who interested in the culture. Several British-style pubs, sports bars with wide-screen TVs and beer bars are centred on Soi Bintabat, a lane located near Hilton Hua Hin Resort. In Cha-Am, there?s Soi Bus Stop, and in Khao Takiab, Cicada Market, a boutique outdoor market with live music.

The two night-markets (just to the north of the town centre, the other in front of the Grand Plaza hotel) have some nightlife in and around them. The restaurants at the Hua Hin Night Market are good for a drink and hang out.

The Grand Night Marktet has a nice bar at the far back right of the market. Others around town will cater more for a Thai clientele, but westerners are welcome. Live music lovers will also not be disappointed with Hua Hin as there are a number of venues that cater for this. Some are air conditioned and almost all play rock music.

Cabaret shows have a long history and most of the performers are transvestites, they really can be great fun and quite a spectacle. There are nightclubs also, the most popular of which is at the Hilton Hotel. There are plenty to do at night in Hua Hin.

The main thing is not to be afraid to try out these options. Hua Hin is a safe town and a bit of experimentation will only add to the pleasure of your stay.
