People living in Nong Kae in Hua Hin are being offered walk-in vaccinations after it was revealed the vaccination target for the sub district has not yet been met.

On Tuesday (Nov 16) public health and municipal officials launched a promotional campaign encouraging people living in the sub district to get vaccinated.

The move comes after officials revealed that Nong Kae sub district, which along with Hua Hin is one of the so-called ‘Blue Zone’ areas opened for tourism, has fallen short of its vaccination target.

Ms. Pailin Kongpan, deputy mayor of Hua Hin said the vaccinations are available to anyone living in Nong Kae aged over 18, including Thai nationals, foreigners and migrant workers.

Walk in vaccinations will be available on the 2nd floor parking lot of BluPort Shopping Mall on November 18–19, 2021, from 07.00 a.m. until 3.00 p.m.

The vaccine will be a mix of types, with AstraZeneca being administered in the first dose, followed by Pfizer in the second, officials said.
