This is an outstanding Mountain bike ride it’s 56 Km around the Pranburi dam. The roads are dirt, gravel with a few Km of Pavement there are some steep hills and rough sections. There are two stores on route for refreshments. I have the route on my Garmin if anyone is interested in doing the ride. Also have the route from the Pranburi Dam to the Hua Hin Winery which is another great ride.

Dear Sirs,

on your page about the new high spped rail projects in Thailand I read: ” 1.09 hours on the 225-km Bangkok-Hua Hin route and one hour on the 220-km Bangkok-Rayong route. Construction will be along existing routes, while the governors of provinces along the way must submit reasons for having a station in their province “.
Now on Friday a map in the Bangkok Post show that traveling from Bangkok to Pattaya means first to travel from Bangkok to Kaeng Khoi for 133 km and from there back to South for another 150 km to Chachoengsao. This means instaed of 1 hour as stipulated in your paper Bangkok to Pattaya means a journey of 3 hours or more and all that having high speed rail transport.
